volunteered today for an organization i’ve worked with a few times over the past year. it’s pretty heartbreaking to think that without this service many people would starve because they are unable to cook for themselvs. our volunteer coordinator spoke about their population and listed bushwick as a top priority of need. and no, not the hipster section seeking cheaper rent…
