today is totally gloomy in nyc, but i feel surprisingly fantastic. i’ve created a glorious rainy day routine that includes an over sized sweater, red raincoat, red boots, coffee and death cab for cute. it actually makes me excited to be alive on such a shitty day. (i fully recommend everyone get a rainy day routine, it will become so comforting that you’ll forget how much it sucks outside.) today i added my gray fedora and i felt like a million bucks…possibly 4 million, but who’s counting.

and my bright red nails are another added bonus to today’s unexpected rain day. (no, i never look at the weather)

other reasons to be stoked this week:

• jmj waffles is back which means epic sorry games and even more epic fights about epic sorry games. and laughing til i pee my pants with the geah team.....sunflower seeds and bald old dudes, that is all.
• colleen’s nyc vacation! i’m taking a vacation day tomorrow so we can fully enjoy tonight’s twreck and throw down a shopping excursion on wednesday. i’m pretty sure i’m buying a leather jacket…holy badass batman.
• and rhode island evan visits?! WHAT this is the so unexpected! meeting up for drinks tomorrow night in the city to presumably discuss how i haven’t read the last harry potter and how much we miss the wick pub. typical, yet fantastic.
